The small, simple wonders that moved me this weekend…
This sunrise that allowed us ( us as in my fabulous sister-in-law) to capture this face.
This guy that took a FOUR hour nap today so I finally felt like I got something accomplished! Oh yeah, he had to sleep in that hoodie with it over his head like that.
You know you’ve arrived when you’re so grateful for two kids that took at least a two hour nap simultaneously.
Check that view behind the hoodie guy again. It makes me grateful that the kitchen doesn’t have this giant wall anymore.
Thankful for this guy and my undefeated Tigers.
Thankful for conversations yet to be had:
This verse:
“John clinched his witness with this: ‘I watched the Spirit, like a dove flying down out of the sky, making himself at home in him. I repeat, I know nothing about him except this: The One who authorized me to baptize with water told me, ‘The One on whom you see the Spirit come down and stay, this One will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ That’s exactly what I saw happen, and I’m telling you, there’s no question about it: This is the Son of God.’ (John 1:32-34 MSG)
So yeah, I was that girl that posted to run as fast you could to church today and I was that girl that woke up with two sick boys. Therefore, I am thankful for friends that took over my nursery duties.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
