Last summer, I actually LEFT the thrift store after finding this gem. Meaning, I left without buying it! IMG_1155 But, it was one of those things that I couldn’t stop thinking about. I called Russ. I called my mom. I sent this picture. And later that day, I went back and got it. I just knew it would make the perfect nightstand in between two twin beds for Kuy and Cray! (Turns out plans changed a little..) Meanwhile, it sat in my garage (seems I have a habit of hoarding things in the carport). And sat there. Until finally, I decided to paint it regardless of whether or not we decided on what to do in their bedrooms! It was actually quite simple, even though it looks like a lot of painting. It was Russ’ idea that made it easy. I just took some green spray paint and sprayed the inside of the letters. One day, though, I envision it sitting between precious twin beds that he and Cray share!

Update: My friend just sent me this! I had no idea it was a knockoff! And I thought $65 was expensive!
