You know how much I like cheap thrift items!
Well, one of my second favorite things to hunt for is stuff I already have around my house!
This poor planter was at our old house holding a dead plant.
I brought it over to our new house and considered painting it black.
A better idea hit when I realized I could spray paint it then paint the rim a different color!
All I did was flip it over, add two coats of spray paint, tuck the boys in, and head back out to paint the rim!
Then, to make the project even better my dad split some enormous hosta he had and donated it to us and it fit right in my pot!
Perfect, free, and not too time consuming! My kind of project!
