This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Becoming Conference! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen an overflow of photos!
The weekend started off perfectly with Edie’s session on Seven Ways to Totally Love Your Home! I met some awesome ladies because I totally interrupted their conversation when I overhead them talking about Noonday!!!
The next day attended a photography session with the fabulous Paige Knudsen (who is one of the awesome Noonday girls!) and learned so much about the little things we must embrace daily.
I had the opportunity to meet Rhoda! And swooned (I’ve never used that word but really wanted to here!) over her traditional style because she does it so well.
And finished up the day with KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms (who is HYSTERICAL!) and Rachel, Jen’s sister about relationships with your children (she has ELEVEN!).
Each of these sessions taught new things in fresh ways. Each of these sessions carried reminders of the beauty around us. Each of these sessions poured into us as women to instill so many lesson into our families.
We are constantly becoming, changing, being purposeful in life.
But for what?
Is what we do meaningful? Is what we do purposeful?
Are we sharing the true author of Beauty? The true creator of Grace?
I’m so thankful for all that surrounds me. I’m thankful for an amazing weekend. I’m thankful for you, that you even take the time to stop by and read what’s on my heart.
I pray we stop today to find it.
Find the beauty in the here and now that surrounds us in the laughter of our children, the gentle touch of a loved one, the smile in a student’s eyes. Stop and treasure it.
Today.
