Honestly, I have no words for how ecstatic I am that this room is finished.
We are FINALLY finished!
We painted the floors (ELEVEN times to find the right gray) and walls (three coats of white!)..
Russ made an arrow out of pallets for me….(you know we love some pallets!)
Grabbed this light on CLEARANCE!
Here, I used a lamp from a thrift store we had, grabbed the rope vase at HomeGoods, and picked up the adorable starfish as another thrift store! And the wicker mirror is from my high school bedroom!
The dresser above is from my college apartment and we finally painted it white and I LOVE it! I literally dipped the knobs in a few paint samples I had!
Can you see the little cupcake wrappers I put on a piece of thread as my window treatment? I’m also in love with the frame we had (from a thrift store) that I painted white and stapled chicken wire on the back!
Remember my Goodwill frames?
And there is one bookcase (from a yard sale!) behind where the chimney sticks out, but the room is literally so small, I can’t get a full length picture. Here’s a couple of items styling the bookshelf.
The last addition to the room is this wall art. A sweet friend actually picked it up for me at Hobby Lobby and the frames are unfinished from Michael’s. I can’t decide if I’ll actually paint them!
And my favorite………………..Before and After!
I promise, promise, promise to give you a source list soon! I just literally can’t think straight because I’m so excited!
What do you think? Too small? Too much white? What’s your favorite part?

I love it! I actually enjoy how much white you use! It seems so clean and fresh. Ive been living in an apartment with white walls for 5 years now and I dream of having colorful walls, but then I see what you do and I love it! Brandon and I were in Belton last week and found a house on River St for sale built in 1903ish….omg I dream of being able to buy that house and renovate!! Maybe if that ever happens, Ill have to get you to help decorate!!
Thank you, Lydia! I would love to help!
Definitely not too much white!! I love the clean look of it. The striped floor, arrow and all the accessories are fantastic! It’s really pretty, Amber!

You crack me up! Thank you soo much!!!
What kind and type of paint did you use on your floor? I have beat up wood floors that I’ve been trying to summon the courage to paint. Thank you!
Well, fortunately, they were already painted before I painted over them!! 🙂 I just used regular interior paint from Valspar! Good luck! I would love to see what you do!!
