Happy Friday, friends!
After revealing our kitchen a few months ago, I had several inquiries on Instagram about a paint colors post.
I realized I had never shared these specifically so here’s a short post on our paint colors!
Each of these colors are Valspar. I almost ALWAYS use Satin or Eggshell finish, except in our bathroom and I use a Satin. It’s much easier to wipe that water off easily when my wild little men are splashing around!
Now, I also realize I’ve never shown you some of these rooms! I assure you, we are getting close to sharing! However, I wanted you to see our go-to colors. For example, La Fonda Mirage I picked years ago for our bedroom in our very first home. Who knew it would be so perfect for me! It seems like every time I grab a can of spray paint at Lowe’s, I pick up that one first, ask Russ if he likes this color, and then laugh because I already know what color it is! (Please say I’m not alone in this!)
I mainly used La Fonda Mirage and Sprinkle (not listed above) to paint our dining room chairs.
In our kitchen, we used Ultra White everywhere except for a gloss white that we sprayed on our cabinets.
We used the same white in our boys’ playroom on their plank walls.
We also used that same white for our cabinets in our laundry room makeover.
In their bedroom, we used Tsunami Sky with 50% white to get the shade of gray we wanted. Just ask the person that mixes your paint and they should be able to help you!
I think it’s fun to look at these paint colors together because it truly evidence of how much I love soft grays and blues. Using white gives you that freedom to mix whatever color you may choose! And the great thing about paint is that it totally changes the feel of a room but for a tiny cost! You can’t beat a room makeover for $30 just by painting the walls!
What about you? Do you have a go-to paint color?

My go-to colour is always Antique White USA by Dulux. A pretty warm white that can be great in a modern home or more traditional one. I find it goes with everything 🙂
