Y’all. Did you just read that title?

This is yet ANOTHER dream come true.

Let me back up. I met Lindsay years ago and I fell in love. Her sweet, kind personality just draws you in completely. Then, one day perusing blogs last year, I saw this adorable familiar face on Young House Love and discovered that this friend that I haven’t seen in YEARS had a blog! And not just a blog! A WILDLY successful blog!

I have followed Lindsay at The White Buffalo Styling Co. and have obsessed over BSHT for the past year or so and I.am.amazed. yet again at the talent and ability that each of these ladies possess!

I’ve also secretly dreamed of being a part of it so when Lindsay asked me, after I picked myself up off the floor, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!

So, if you’re new here, welcome! If you’re visiting from Shannon’s blog, Burlap and Lace, don’t you just love it so much!!?

I am truly so thankful for you and just like anyone who enters our home, (and like our preacher says every Sunday), I am DELIGHTED you are here!

Come on in!

We bought our foreclosure three and a half years ago and completely gutted it.

Dining Room and Kitchen Before

Unfortunately, we spent all of our money on the not so fun stuff like sheetrock and windows and electrical so that left our decorating budget at around $0.

So for the past year and a half that we have lived here, we have worked tirelessly to make it a home that we love and hopefully, that welcomes many!

I enjoy thrifting desperately and the idea of repurposing something we already have makes it that much better!

We bought these two white couches from IKEA and we LOVE the white!

Our home lends itself to an airy, open feel and I love that the whites and soothing blues tie everything together seamlessly.

I have quickly also become obsessed with fresh flowers! I have a secret, though. My hometown florist lets me have what she throws away! Don’t tell! (Or if you live in my hometown, sorry! 😉 )

Obviously, the easiest way we freshen up for spring is with fresh flowers from the yard or the florist! There’s just something about fresh flowers that makes an entire space seem happier.

Like most of our home, our dining room is almost entirely thrifted (Oh, also we are NOT about perfection as you may can tell!). You can read about dining room and imperfection here!

Our kitchen was also a total gut job as we ripped out everything, including the rotten floor. You can read all about that here!

We are so grateful for this space and we are reminded everyday what a special opportunity we have to open these doors to so many that we love.

Whether it be the basketball team on Saturday mornings or our friends for a small brunch!

I cannot tell you what it means to me that you spent time with  me today!

Continue the tour at one of my ALL-TIME favorites (that I may or may not stalk on IG, she may not know it though…) Iron and Twine! She has the most beautiful twins!
