Good morning! If you’re coming over from Eleven Gables, wow. Just wow. She always blows me away AND today’s entire line up just has me shaking my head as to how in the world I fit in!
Anyway, however you got here, I’m so thankful you’re here. Truly. Thanks so much for sharing this space with me as we gather, share, and grow!
I’m again, beyond honored, to be a part of Lindsay‘s Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours Thanksgiving Tablescape edition!
I have to admit…this was way out of my comfort zone as I don’t usually set the table. We eat here three times a day and I just don’t have it in me to set it back each time. Terrible, right?
BUT, when Lindsay mentioned this idea, I knew I wanted to at least try it….
SO without further ado, using my wedding china, gourds from my mother-in-law and glasses from my mom, I set a table!
You also know orange is out of my comfort zone, but hey, you only live once AND my Tigers are No. 1 in the nation right now….
Everything you see are items I had on hand. You see, long before I had children, I loved to set a table. I had these beautiful napkins and matching napkin rings from Pier 1 and I thought I knew what I was doing. Today, my style is way different but I love that the color still works.
Simplistic. Natural. All elements that are still true to our style but still pushing us to the limits just slightly.
But isn’t life like that? Isn’t this time of year the time to step out of your comfort zone…for friends, family, and those around you?
Make this Thanksgiving different, my friends.
And know that I am so grateful for you and the gifts gifted to you.
I’m the last stop on today’s tour but make sure you head to The Makerista’s blog first thing tomorrow!

What a beautiful table! Your home has fantastic natural light. I think the oranges compliment the space wonderfully. I particularly love the branches in you vase.
