Good morning, friends!

If you’re coming over from my sweet friend, Summer’s blog, WELCOME! I am truly so thankful you are here.

Today is Day Two of the talented Lindsay’s Blogger Stylin’  Home Tours! Be sure to begin the tour over at The White Buffalo Styling Co.

My husband and I, and our three kiddos, live in a very small town, not too far south from Summer in Charlotte and about 45 minutes from Lindsay! We have actually lived in this tiny town our entire lives and this will be our third summer in what we affectionately call, our Yellow House.

We still have a LONG way to go (and have some SUPER exciting backyard projects going on right now that I cannot wait to share!) but we love this home and are so thankful for how far it has come.

You can read about that journey here and how we came to call this home ours.

Today, I am sharing what our home looks like right this minute. I did not stage it too much and left many things the way they were because I thought, why not? If you’re like me, you’d probably rather see things that are attainable and goodness knows over here with three kiddos under five, it is nearly impossible to maintain a clean house!

You will notice as you come in, our stairs are right in between our living and dining room but our front door opens wide to our living room. And this is TRULY where we spend most of our time! The kitchen and dining room are all open to the kitchen and that has been a huge blessing!

2016-06-06_0008 Right beside our staircase is a little nook for our bags and all of the paintings and invitations that seem to come daily! I thought about changing bags out and moving things around but this is pretty much how it stays (Oh and the hat is from The Dollar Store and the chambray shirt that has been my cover up this summer is a Goodwill find!)2016-06-06_0010These three open areas are where we eat, play, and gather. Whether it is board games or wrestling, most of these pillows end up all over the floor. 2016-06-06_0013 2016-06-06_0011 2016-06-06_0014 2016-06-06_0006 I debated a centerpiece for the dining room table but I always end up moving it when we eat and that kind of drives me crazy. Plus, since we are ALL home for the summer (my husband is a teacher and coach), we eat pretty much every meal here or outside! 2016-06-06_0012 I was SO excited to hang my recent beach trip picture and love that it is in this little corner. 2016-06-06_0007 I have slowly added more glassware to my open shelves and I have loved the change. The little milk bottles with straws were a Target dollar spot find and worth the $3. My middle little man LOVES a straw! 2016-06-06_0015 2016-06-06_0009

Since I found this table several months ago, we have been eating lunch out here almost every day! BIG changes are coming to this little side yard beside it and you can probably see the giant mud pit right in the middle of our yard! Stay tuned!
