So for about oh, I don’t know THIRTY years, I have been late. I know. Go ahead. I’m impolite. I’m rude. I think my time is better than others. Blah, blah, blah.

THAT is NOT it! The truth of the matter is that I THINK, always, literally every single day, I have MORE time than I actually do. It is a terrible habit…one that makes us late more often than not.

And one thing I constantly am doing is looking down at my watch to see what time it is. How many more minutes do I have before we HAVE to leave, right?

And for years I have worn a beautiful watch that Russ gave me. And I love it! In fact, my dad gave Russ and me BOTH watches with the sweetest note that I shared here once. And this little girl is all the reminder we leave how QUICKLY time flies.

The reminder of the essence of the time we have together is so important. So emphatic. So fleeting.

Not to be cheesy but now, I have another beautiful watch to add to that collection (all three of them!). Each holds a special meaning and each complement various items in my closet.
