Good morning, friends! Today, some of my friends are sharing their beautiful and inspiring Spring mantel decor or a Spring vignette.
Krista, the Happy Housie, is the brains behind this and is such a sweet friend!
You have to hop over to see what they are sharing! You won’t believe the creativity and talent!

Our little vignette is, surprise, quite simple.
But first, I have to tell you about this sofa table.
A couple of YEARS ago, I found this tabletop on the side of the road. I could not even fit in the back of my then mini-van so I drove home with the back open. I was determined.
For a while, it served as decor just leaning against the wall (can you see it in the corner?).
Then, we took the legs off of one desk and added them to this able to make another desk.
THEN, I decided I needed a real desk so we broke the table down into four boards and used the legs AGAIN to make my very favorite yet–this sofa table!
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw this lamp from my stories the other day! It was the perfect find thanks to my friend and her eagle eyes!
I love the way it complements the blue in my living room.
Then, using, literally, a branch in my yard, I stuck it in this vase.
I actually had a credit from Minted where I ordered this beautiful print.
And this should probably be called a summer vignette since I have two beach pictures but I cannot wait for my toes to touch the sand, so I brought it in here.
The bigger white frame in the middle is actually another goodwill find and I painted a piece of foam board to put inside.
I’m no artist but I love how therapeutic painting can be.
Finally, this little piece of driftwood just makes my heart happy. I love the texture it adds and the feel it evokes.
It’s that simple.
A few, meaningful things. (The windows were from our second home and that means so much to me!)
And with one switch, it looks completely different. I wanted to take a couple with this “cross” my dad found.
The difference in the light at this time of day amazes me, but I loved how it looked, too.
But the JOY that spring brings, it’s what drives me to love this time of year so deeply.
As summer approaches and days become longer, it’s such a sweet, sweet time with family and friends. The days linger and the kids play outside until it is dark.
This freedom that Christ provides in this space here on Earth is, in fact, our Eden.
He invites us into this JOY to celebrate with Him because of His death on the Cross.
And as we approach the Easter season, I pray you recognize these joys in your everyday. Whatever they may be.
Thank you for meeting me here, today.
If this inspires you, I’d love for you to save it for later.
YOU are a blessing, friend.
