I have to admit, I was pretty darn excited this idea actually worked. When Cray, my middle, said he wanted to be a ghost for Halloween this year, I debated all three of my wild ones being ghosts for Halloween. BUT then, I thought about a witch, a goblin, and a ghost! Now, I’m still struggling for the goblin costume but one thrifted sheet later, we have a ghost! Haha! (And you know, I LOVE a thrifted costume!)
So when we traveled to the mountains this weekend (which was AMAZING…and that’s saying a lot coming from this beach-loving girl), we stopped at an arts and crafts festival and I found the most adorable tutu, hat AND broom! Done!
Of course, I took to Pinterest and found a few blogs that shared this idea to remake a pair of shoes so little girls (or big girls!) could have pointy shoes. You can see some of those ideas here, here and here!
As luck would have it, I found a pair of white shoes JUST Callie’s size AND the perfect pair of black to create this…you will not believe the result…
